“Masks4Missions helps get Vermonters the masks they need.”

masks that protect and connect—protecting Vermonters 2020-2022
A youth-led and youth-centric organization, Masks4Missions was a collaboration of Vermont’s schools, colleges, nonprofits and businesses that came together with a shared goal of keeping Vermont safe.
When COVID-19 threatened not only Vermonter’s health, but also our connections to each other and our community, Masks4Missions helped to save lives and communities.
Masks4Missions provided masks dressed with fun and colorful images from Vermont nonprofits that were worn more often, helping all to safely connect with each other and deepen our ties to the nonprofits and missions we love and support.
We envision a world where masks express our individuality, promote our missions, and represent our togetherness—masks people wear because they want to wear them.

we designed & distributed masks
in collaboration with Vermont artists, non-profits, and local businesses
Our masks helped save lives while promoting and building affinity with Vermont nonprofits and local businesses. Masks4Missions partnered with Vermont nonprofits to design, make, distribute, and sell subsidized COVID masks bearing images from our nonprofit partners. All profits went to our respective nonprofit partners.
supporting our
local nonprofits
by promoting their missions to the public
Stopping the spread of COVID-19 was our mission as we supported our local nonprofits and our communities. Our partners ranged from Vermont’s small to large nonprofits, community organizations, local government, to everyday citizens like you. Many joined our advisory boards, student advisory boards, and social media outreach teams. All of us worked together toward our goals of improving public health, increasing youth engagement, and supporting our local nonprofits and communities.
bringing us
together
both safely and meaningfully
Masks4Missions was a coalition of people who care for each other and want to fight the isolation that COVID has caused. Together, with everyone using masks, we more safely reconnected with each other and especially with the nonprofits that help to make Vermont special for everyone. What was a one-person idea grew into a network of friends and supporters working together.
and
making a difference
through inspiration and excitement
Masks4Missions created and operated a statewide program for 2+ years engaging youth, their families, and their communities. The buzz we created served to promote both mask-wearing and Vermont nonprofits.

VERMONT MASK DAY
OCTOBER 6, 2020
Vermont Mask Day was on October 6 with a day of fun and state-wide celebration of Vermonters coming together virtually and in mask-protected, socially-distant gatherings to celebrate our shared commitment to healthy people, healthy nonprofits, and healthy communities. We circled up with artists, musicians, students, and our favorite nonprofits to dream up and deliver events that celebrated and encouraged mask wearing to keep our communities safe. Stay tuned for more events!
THANK YOU.
masks4missions.org has ceased operations and remains grateful for everyone who came together to fight COVID and strengthen our communities.
